Founded in 2017 by Sarah Duensing, SD Resources is an SBA 8(a)-certified, women-owned small business (WOSB) headquartered in southern Illinois. We perform heavy civil construction projects across the United States, with a focus on water resource and infrastructure work for federal and state agencies.
Our work includes new levee construction, levee repairs and slope stabilization, berm extensions, relief well construction, rehabilitation and repair, drainage and water control structures, and erosion and streambank stabilization. We routinely operate in regulated environments and on projects with complex subsurface and hydraulic conditions.
SD Resources self-performs critical scopes of work, including excavation, embankment construction, concrete placement, and riprap installation, supported by in-house logistics and field operations. Our experience reflects consistent performance on complex civil works in regulated environments, with an emphasis on constructability, safety compliance, and disciplined project management.
